Fruit Juicy Gummy Snacks
These fruity gummies get their sweetness from fruit juice and honey. Amount of honey can be adjusted to suit your families sweetness. Any flavor of juice can be used easily. For this recipe we have used Grape, but have also experimented with others!

  1. Prepare silicone molds by placing them on a baking sheet to protect surfaces from spills.
  2. Place 1/2 cup fruit juice in microwaveable dish (or heat on stovetop) and heat for 30 seconds or until just hot.
  3. Add honey and stir to combine.
  4. Slowly add gelatin and stir. If you add gelatin powder too quickly, the mixture will clump, so be sure to go slow and stir well. Mixture may foam slightly at top.
  5. Using medicine dropper, syringe, or spoon quickly fill molds with gelatin. If mixture is allowed to cool too much, it will begin to set up.
  6. Move tray of filled molds to refrigerator and allow to set up for 30 minutes. Once set, remove from molds and place on parchment lined sheet. Allow to cure on sheet in refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Length of time cured will lead to “bouncier” gummies. Once they have reached their desired “bounciness”, store in sealed container in the Fridge.
Recipe Notes

Wash utensils and cooking pots immediately before the gelatin starts to set up. This makes for much easier clean up!
